Western media keep strange silence about the Asahi's defeat. But Hiroko Tabuchi of NY Times tweeted:


This article is a laughing matter.
Asahi – much too late – has now acknowledged its mistake. But that does not negate Asahi’s essential editorial points that Japan should take responsibility for World War II aggression, and for having coerced thousands of women into sexual servitude.
It's the false accusation that the Asahi retracted.
No official documents were found that directly showed forcible taking away by the military on the Korean Peninsula and Taiwan　[...] No documents have been found that show the military systematically taking away women like kidnappers.
Could you read English, Mr. Ennis?

Asahi Shimbun fabricated "comfort women"

All these things began with a wrong article. "Comfort women" or  "military abduction" weren't discussed before it. The Asahi Shimbun reported in the front page on 11 January 1992 that the historian Yoshiaki Yoshimi discovered documents that proves the Army's "commitment" to comfort women in the archives of Japan's Defense Agency.

Greenpeace Is a Thief

Greenpeace Japan filed a criminal complaint with Japanese prosecutors Thursday, accusing whaling-ship crew members of stealing whale meat from a hunting trip. However, the alleged "evidence" was stolen from the warehouse . Jun Hoshikawa, the director of Greenpeace Japan, admitted that they stole it and apologized. According to the Japanese law, the object which was collected with illegal measure can't be an evidence. So their accusation will be rejected. This is a typical hypocrisy of so-called radical ecologists. Western people want to save the whale, while they are killing millions of cows, pigs, and other animals everyday, more than any eastern people.
